ACTIVITIES

In recent weeks, the boarders have been involved in a variety of activities including swimming in the pool, dodgeball and "belly flop baseball" in the hall, and arts/ crafts painting and decorating a picture frame for boarders to keep.

The super pizza night was a great success with boarders being able to treat themselves and to also share with a friend while watching the football or a movie.

As a whole boarding house community we were able to go down to Wagga Beach for dinner and games or to just share a moment in a different surrounding with their friends, a lot of fun was had and we enjoyed a nice bbq meal. I would like to thank all staff and students for their help and participation in this event.

Miracle at Wagga Beach

From the tales of strange happenings. A stray football heads towards Kaleb Hooker who reaches up with phone in hand only to see the ball knock the device out of his hands and into a drain. With a concerted effort from staff, the heavy drain cover was lifted to find the phone immersed in water at the bottom of the drain - still on, still working.

Once rescued, the phone was turned off and allowed to dry out completely before turning on again. Overnight it was stored in rice and is reported to be fully operational.

A miracle!
