Covid Update

We have seen a steady decline in Covid cases reported to us over the past two weeks, with a slight increase today (will be reported in Monday's figures).

With the spread of the B2 variant in the community, Victoria and NSW are both seeing doubling of previous weeks' figures, and I anticipate we will see that here at school as well.

Advice is that the best protection against serious illness, hospitalisation or "long covid" is the third booster shot.  I encourage all students to get their booster shots.  All staff working on site have been triple vaccinated.

Please keep testing your students with the RATs provided on a twice weekly basis.  This fortnight's supply was delayed, and will be distributed on Tuesday.   Positive results need to be reported to AskLeadership@sthelena.vic.edu.au   This enables us to report to DET and send work home for students.

The virus has not gone away, and students still need to practice good hygiene and STAY HOME if feeling unwell.
