Family Connections
Each year the school celebrates community by hosting a Welcome Party - a fun filled evening out on the school oval. This is a wonderful opportunity for new and old families of the school to connect with one another.
How do we connect with current restrictions? The ‘Welcome Party’ team has a surprise coming your way! Get ready to build community in various local locations.

School Photos
School photos will be taken on Tuesday.
Children are to come to school in their official summer uniform.
Sibling Photos
If you have ordered a sibling photo online but have not collected a sibling envelope, please contact the office. Without this envelope the school does not have a record of who has ordered a sibling photo and we do not want families to miss out on having their photo taken.
LLL School Banking
Open a Children's Savings Account before 31 March and the Lutheran Laypeople's League (LLL) will kickstart your child's savings with the first $25.00.
Visit lll.org.au/child to open an account, using the promotional code GET25, or collect a form from the school office.
Canteen
The canteen is open for lunch only on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Check the QKR! app to see what is available.
QKR! orders must be placed by 8:45am, with separate orders for each child.
Growing Faith at Home
This week’s GFH title is “Listen to Jesus”. This can be tricky in the busyness of life as we rush to accomplish things on our ‘to do’ list. But to listen to someone takes time... Have you shared time with someone and really listened to their story? What happened next? I wonder if your relationship became stronger?
The Caring Conversations asks these questions: What is the difference between hearing and listening? Why is it important to listen to others? God the Father tells us to listen to his Son, Jesus (Luke 9:34,35). What does it mean to listen to Jesus?
The resource also contains some ideas for Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.

Little Lambs Playgroup
Little Lambs Playgroup for 2022 is currently under construction. Our community values this time of connection with families with little ones.
If this is something you feel passionate about, I would love to hear from you. There are plenty of resources ready to go thanks to the creativity, generosity and love of previous Little Lambs team leaders.

QKR! App for Online Orders
Online payments (uniform/canteen/school fees etc.) are our preferred method of payment.
This app is free and easy to use and accepts all debit/credit cards.
Installation steps are as follows:
Medication
Parents are advised that topical medications will no longer be issued at school (e.g. stingoes, savlon etc.).
If your child requires medication, parents are asked to provide the school with items in chemist labelled packaging.
School Card Applications
All families wishing to apply for the school card discount scheme in 2022 must apply annually by clicking here:
Uniform Shop
Online QKR! uniform orders are welcome.
Items ordered for Tuesdays and Thursdays will be ready for pickup from the front office at the end of that school day.
The uniform shop is open for business:
- Tuesday: 8.00am - 10.30am
- Tuesday: 1.00pm - 3.35pm
- Thursday: 1.00pm - 3.35pm

Volunteer Training
Here are the steps to becoming a registered volunteer:
- Organise a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Complete the attached form and bring to the school office with your 100pt identification.
- Complete Valuing Safe Communities online training which takes about 30 minutes. The certificate issued at the end of the training is to be shown to school office staff for verification.
- Read the following policies from our school website:
- Attend a Volunteer in-house training session which is yet to be confirmed.
- Provide proof of COVID immunisation via email.
