a word from leadership

Community 'Connection and Care'

Good Shepherd has long-enjoyed a reputation as a caring and well-connected community.  Our first value 'LOVE' acknowledges that relationships are central to our purpose and existence as a school.

We love because God first loved us.  We respond by extending respect, compassion and care to each other.

from the Bible…

And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.  Colossians 3:14

The world has shifted over recent years and in response, we've been stretched to care and connect in new ways.  Some previous events, programs and structures, don't achieve the same result as they did in years' past.

At the same time there is much to celebrate as we strive to love and care for one another in difficult times.

A group of school parents have volunteered to support a rethink of community 'Connection and Care'.  The following very short survey will give them valuable data that I pray, captures the hopes and dreams of our wonderful community.

I encourage your participation and thank you in advance for taking time to contribute.  You responses are valued and will make a difference.

School Photos

Official school photos take place next week. This booking is locked in and scheduled 12 months in advance.

A very small number of children will unfortunately be in isolation due to COVID and it remains critical that any student who is unwell, regardless of how mild the symptoms, does not attend school.

However, as outlined in today's COVID Update, we are a safe place and we are very well placed to have healthy students at school, participating in the learning program and smiling for the camera.
