From the P&C

On Tuesday 15 March, the P&C held their AGM and we are very pleased to report that a new executive was elected.

President – Richard Post

Vice President – Robert Jackson

Secretary – Aimee Hutton

Treasurer – Amanda Jackson

Social Media Coordinator – Trudi Brown

We would like to thank all of those who nominated and we are excited to work together in 2022.

This year will look very different for the P&C now that the canteen operations have been transferred over to the school. As a result our focus this year will very much be on fundraising and how we can contribute to making Guyra Central School the best it can be. In the general meeting which followed the AGM we began discussing some exciting fundraising ideas for this year, and hopefully 2022 will bring further reductions in Covid restrictions so we can all spend a little more time face to face.

For anyone new to the school this year, don’t forget you can get uniform pieces from the clothing pool. Just pop into the school and speak to the amazing office staff. All proceeds from the clothing pool go to the P&C.

To Parents, Grandparents and friends of Guyra Central School - it's not too late to get involved. We would love to see some new faces at our next meeting on Tuesday 31 May at 6pm – venue to be decided. The P&C is such a great way to stay up to date on what is happening at our school and to make a difference in the school lives of our kids.
