1/2 T

What a wonderful fortnight we have had in 12T!

We have been learning lots about adjectives, which are words we use to describe things.

We found them in the books we read, such as The Foot Book, I Wish That I Had Duck Feet and The Girl, the Bear and the Magic Shoes.

(We also choose these special books last week to celebrate International Feet Week!)

We then brainstormed and wrote adjectives to describe ourselves.

During writing, we took some inspiration from a rather strange source -

the Carrot Monster that has been growing in Miss Terri's vegetable patch.

We've never seen one quite like it before!!

We've also been talking lots about the Learning Pit.

That's a place we all go at different times and sometimes it's not a very comfortable place to be. But we are getting better at understanding how important it is to be 'in the pit'.

We now know there are lots of strategies that can help us to work our way out of the pit and we also know that we need to go into the pit to learn!

Here's what 12T thinks and says at each stage of the learning pit journey.
