💡OUR INNOVATIVE IDEAS 💡

We have been focussing on how we can improve someones quality of life. The students have selected a minority group of their choosing and researched the problems that people face in their daily lives.

They have narrowed down their focus and identified one small problem, researched the existing solutions and are now creating their own innovative ways to help.

Here are some of the wonderful ideas the students have come up with:

Emily's idea

To help homeless people, Emily came up with the idea to create an option when online shopping where people could add food to their basket that they dontate. Homeless people could then walk into stores and take what they need from a food bank.

Molly's idea:

To raise awareness about lack of representation of people of colour in the media we engage with.

Molly is creating a list of books, movies and TV shows written by and featuring people of colour so that parents can find them for their children

Andrew and Louis

To help someone who has an amputated hand.

Andrew and Louis are designing a detatchable hand that has different attachements to help with everyday tasks like knives, bottle opener and toothbrush.

Ruby and Micah

To raise awareness about poverty in Australia, Micah and Ruby are creating a youtube ad to support St Vincent De Paul's soup van in Frankston.  The ad is free to make and can reach a variety of people

Rosie and Alana

To help homeless people access healthcare and other services, Rosie and Alana are writing letters to members of Parliament to ask them to offer free public transport to homeless people in Victoria.

Aliyah and Sofia

To raise awareness about improving Aboriginal healthcare and wellbeing, Aliyah and Sofia are creating a podcast episode to send out to the school community.

Siyana and Milan

To raise awareness about the stereotypes that people of colour face, Siyana and Milan are creating a post that famous people and influencers could share on social media.
