John XXIII Netball Club

I hope everyone had a great weekend. 

PRIMARY SCHOOL

Registrations for the Primary school are now closed. Teams will be announced next week. 

We will do our best to place players in the same year group but mixed teams may be necessary.

Training 

  • Year 6 will begin on Thursday 24 March 3:30pm – 5:00pm
  • Year 5 will begin on Friday 25 March time TBA
  • Years 2 – 4 will be advised by your coach

Grading 

  • Year 6 will be on Thursday 31 March 3:30pm – 5:00pm
  • Year 5 will be on Friday 1 April 7:40am – 8:20am

Uniforms

  • Years 2 & 3 will wear their College sports uniform.
  • Years 4, 5 & 6 wear the netball dress and navy blue sports knickers.

Netball dresses are available from the College Uniform Shop. Please put your order in as soon as possible as delivery can take up to 8 weeks.

Jewellery 

Jewellery is not permitted on the netball court, not even taped. Please keep this in mind if you are planning to have your players ears pierced. 

 

The player will be asked to leave the court until the jewellery is removed.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

Weekend grading is now complete. There are a few more players to finalise so teams will not be announced until next weekend.

Uniforms

Netball dresses are available from the College Uniform Shop. Please put your order in as soon as possible as delivery can take up to 8 weeks.

 

Jewellery is not permitted on court during the season. It is not allowed to be taped. Players with jewellery on will be asked to leave the court and remove it.

Training

Training is a compulsory component of netball. Please let the Club or your coach know if you are going to be absent.

 

Coaches do a lot of preparation and planning for team training. Last minute absences are disruptive so please let your coach know as soon as possible if you can't attend. Not attending training without a valid reason can lead to minimal court time on Saturdays.

Teams

Teams will be released this afternoon.
