Swimming Carnival 2022

On a beautiful sunny February 8th day, Kurunjang Secondary took part in the annual Swimming Carnival. Students from Lang, Pyke, Barak and Watts competed across the various swimming strokes, novelty events and activities held throughout the day. The VCAL students raised money by putting on a BBQ for the whole school, whilst also helping the staff with a number of the duties throughout the day.

The wellbeing team supported by providing many ‘Giant Games’ and also face painting for the students to take part in. The much popular ‘dance off’ was another hit with a many students trying to show off their best moves to ‘YMCA’ and ‘Nutbush’. 

In the end it was LANG house who took the trophy as the strongest house team on the day with an impressive effort. Thank you to everyone who came along, took part in the day and showed the college values with enthusiasm throughout the event.
