Mother's Day Raffle
Thank you to everyone who supported the Mother's Day Raffle. $169 was raised for State Schools’ Relief - a not-for-profit organisation that improves the lives of tens of thousands of disadvantaged Victorian students, and their families, each year.
Thanks to Summah and Taylor Anne who drew the winning ticket. The winner - Mr John Beard will enjoy the delicious box of Darrell Lea Chocolates.
Car Park - drop off and pick up
Just a reminder that parents/carers dropping off and picking up their child from school are to use the parent car park at the main entrance (near the oval). Please do not use the Staff carpark.

Student Absences
If your child will be absent or late due to illness or for any other reason, parents/guardians are able to choose one of the following options:
- mark their absence on Compass
- send an email to the school: fairhills.hs@education.vic.gov.au
- call 9758 5022 and leave a message after the prompt. The absence line is operational 24hrs a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.
If a student arrives at school late they should report to their classroom teacher.
If a student is required to leave school early for any reason they should bring a note from their parent/guardian and record this on Compass.
Asthma/Diabetes/Anaphylaxis/Epilepsy
If your child has a medical alert for ASTHMA, DIABETES, ANAPHYLAXIS or EPILEPSY the school MUST be supplied with a new Management Plan every 12 months. Please ensure you have provided this to the office in the best interest of your child.

Lost Property
If your child has misplaced anything at school - please ask that they check at the School Office.
School Uniforms which are named are returned to students as soon as they are handed in (please check that your student has his/her name clearly marked on each item of school uniform).
Uniform Shop
The on-site Uniform Shop is open every Thursday from 12.00 - 4.00pm
Second-hand items - if you have any uniforms or books that are no longer being used and you would like to donate them to the school, please bring them to the General Office.
The use of face masks on public transport
Face masks continue to be one of the most important ways we can help slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community. To ensure public health directions are being followed, students aged 12 years and over must wear a face mask when on public transport, school buses and when in taxis or ride share vehicles – unless they have a lawful exemption.
