Harvey Wood's Farewell

Mr Harvey Wood retired as Principal of Fairhills High School at the beginning of 2021.  On Thursday 1st April 2021 the staff, past and present, and members of the school community recognised the valuable contribution he has made at the school over the past 20 years.  We were pleased to welcome, Harvey’s wife Janine, Hon. Jackson Taylor, Hon. Nick Wakeling and Mr Scott Fraser, School Council President.

The guests enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea, the opportunity to reminisce about past events and everyone enjoyed some interesting storytelling, together with a range of slides, that reflected Harvey’s long and distinguished career.

We all wished Harvey good health, safe travels and an enjoyable time together, during his retirement, with his family and friends.
