In 2001 the excitement of the start of the school year for Year 7 was the popular Lipsync afternoon held on Friday 23rd February.  All five homerooms had between 2-4 groups performing to a chosen song.  Several genres of music were introduced from ‘The Grease Mega Mix’, which took everyone back in time, to more contemporary songs of the new decade like ‘You Can’t fight the Moonlight’.

Lipsync was a great way to get all Year 7 students and teachers together, demonstrating how much fun they can look forward to during their future time at Marian.
