To any new Junior Keys parents:

New Junior Keys parents should have or should be receiving a series of 8 emails. This are sent to you on a weekly basis upon enrolment. Please let us know if you haven’t been receiving these important emails. They contain useful tips and information on how to guide your child through the course.

Cancelling your tuition

If you are unsure whether your child will be continuing lessons in term 4, please speak to your child’s teacher and/or Pik. However, do remember, under the Forte School of Music policy, you are required to give at least four weeks notice or four weeks worth of fees in lieu of cancelling tuition.

Missed Lessons

Please remember that there are no credits or refunds for missed lessons! Your teacher is paid for the students enrolled in the class regardless of your child’s absence. Students taking private lessons can request to reschedule up to 2 lessons per term. Junior Keys, Piano Keys & Creative Keys students who miss 2 lessons in a row (and have informed us of their absence) during the term are also entitled to a complimentary 20 min catch-up lesson.

Eating and drinking at school

We would appreciate if parents could help out by cleaning up after your child if your child snacks at the school. Food is strictly not allowed in classrooms to avoid the problem of little six legged critters! We also appreciate if accompanying parent attending classes refrain from bringing hot drinks into class to avoid spillage as there are lots of electric cords and electronics on and around the keyboards.
