3-6 HOUSE SWIMMING SPORTS

On Tuesday the 4th of February We held our annual Senior Swimming Sports at Korumburra pool. All students competed with great enthusiasm and effort, making it a fantastic day.

We had many wonderful performances and our age group champions were:

Under 9's: Kayden Campbell and Lacey McRae Under 10's: Macen Hengstberger and Kiarnah Kranen

Under 11's: Ned Sheahan and Rose Bowler Under 12's: Jett Tieman and Gemma Meadley

Carmel Kennedy Medallion: Aidan Treacy

House scores were extremely close with

Gold coming in 1st with 465 points, followed by

Red with 459 points and

Blue was 3rd with 446 points.

Thank you to all the parent helpers and staff who assisted in the smooth running of the event.

30 students moved onto the District level competition that was held last Friday the 21st of February at Korumburra Pool. Following this carnival 21 students moved onto The Division level competition will be held tomorrow, 28th of February at Korumburra.

DISTRICT SWIMMING

Last Friday, 30 nervous and excited students headed off to Korumburra for a great day of Swimming. All the student's behaviour, sportsmanship and efforts throughout the day was fantastic and we had some really gutsy and outstanding performances. We placed both 3rd in the handicap and overall shields on the day.

6 students ( in 9 events) qualify for individual events and an AMAZING 5 freestyle relay teams through to the Division level being held tomorrow, Friday the 28th, at Korumburra.

The following Students have qualified for Division level;

Jett Tieman - 50m Freestyle, Backstroke and 12/13 boys freestyle relay

Ned Sheahan- 50m Butterfly, Backstroke and 11 boys freestyle relay

Kiarnah Kranen- 50m Breaststroke and Butterfly, 10 girls freestyle relay

Lachie Bowler - 50m Backstroke and 10 boys Freestyle relay

Tess Croatto - 50m Backstroke

Aidan Treacy- 50m Breaststroke and 12/13 boys Freestyle relay

Cassidy Bourke- 12/13 girls Freestyle relay

Gemma Meadley- 12/13 Freestyle relay

Sophie Granzow- 12/13 girls Freestyle relay

Chiara Marinou - 12/13 girls Freestyle relay
