DAV Junior Public Speaking Grand Final Winners

On Friday 22 October, the Grand Final of the DAV Junior Public Speaking competition was held. This competition brough together Year 7 and 8 public speakers from across Victoria across numerous regional rounds to present a series of persuasive and impromptu speeches. 

 

Beginning back in Term 2, we were fortunate enough to have four of our Year 8 students to qualify amongst the twelve who made it to the Victorian Grand Final: 

Jade H, Prisha R, Olivia W and Jill X. 

 

Just making it to the Grand Final is an outstanding achievement, but in a truly outstanding achievement, all three of the winners were Huntingtower students:
