Year 1 Spotlight

It's Busy in Year 1!

Year 1 has been super busy settling back into our onsite school routine! We have enjoyed seeing our friends, being in our classrooms and getting back to everything reading, writing and maths!

We have been spending lots of time learning in our beautiful outdoor spaces, with the fig tree becoming the perfect reading nook on a sunny day.

We were inspired by the Art4All miniature worlds art trail and put our capacity skills to work. We created our own mini worlds which included either a pool or a pond. The students measured the capacity of their miniature pools and ponds using water or sand.

We enjoyed writing thank you letters to our families for helping us throughout our remote learning!

Thank you to all of our students for a smooth transition back to onsite learning.
