From our Year 5/6

Year 5/6 Media Art

This term the Year 5 and 6 students integrated focus has been on Media Arts. Media arts is an open-ended genre of artistic practice that utilizes newly developed media technology to produce works of art. We are learning about different types of Media Arts and how to recognise different types of media arts. 

We also got to make our own animations using google slides which we  added music and voice overs to. The animations that we made on google slides we made by starting with our characters on a slide and duplicating the slide. We then moved characters a little bit and duplicated it again. This took a long time and it was pretty fiddly but we enjoyed it. The Year 5 and 6 have been really enjoying learning about Media arts and we are looking forward to learning more.
