Education in Faith

Dear Families

It is so exciting that due to our rising vaccination rates our students will begin to return to face to face teaching next week. As our state begins to reopen, we are blessed with the opportunity for our senior students to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist and Confirmation on the Thursday 25th of November at 7.00pm. I wish to thank Bishop Tony who has been so supportive in providing us with an alternate date for next month.

On Wednesday, the senior children gathered with additional parish students and participated in their first Confirmation Retreat Sessions.  During the Zoom Meeting the students listened to two guest speakers talking about how God has called them to action through the Holy Spirit. Zoe, a Year 8 past student, shared her faith journey and calling to join Tony's Café. Gwen Fitzgerald, a long time member of our parish, shared her amazing life story and how she has heard the call of God many times  to care and support others in our global community.

We thank all these inspiring people for supporting and inspiring our students to see the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives.

Yours in Faith,

Sue Lema
