Frankston Line Major Works
Frankston Line major works: buses replace trains and Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach stations update
Buses replace trains on the Frankston and Stony Point Lines at the following times:
- Between Mordialloc, Frankston and Stony Point, 8.30pm Monday 13 September to last service 31 October.
- Buses will extend to Moorabbin, Frankston and Stony Point, Thursday 7 October to last service Tuesday 12 October.
There will also be weekend and night works on other sections of the Frankston and Stony Point lines in October.
Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach station closures and pedestrian access changes:
- Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach stations are closed, and the new stations will open in November 2021.
- There are changes to how you move around the Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach areas, with pedestrian rail crossing closures in place until early October to ensure the safety of the community and workers.
