Echuca Moama Rocks

Echuca Regional Health’s Wellbeing and Primary Mental Health department want to acknowledge that our community rocks! This event aims to reconnect our border bubble, celebrating our strong and inclusive community, and bring some joy and adventure to our daily lives throughout October (Rocktober!) through creativity, physical activity and connection.

Our School will be participating too! Echuca Rock Solid has donated the rocks and will be delivering these on Monday. Emily Flanigan will then distribute to classes.

  • DECORATE your rocks with your idea of what makes Echuca Moama rock (maybe it’s our river, bushland, paddlesteamers, the Port, weather, sport, community spaces, social scene, or unsung heroes of the pandemic). On the back, signpost back to Echuca Regional Health and our hashtags #echucamoamarocks  & #rocktober so that others can join in
  • HIDE your rocks (safely) around town to be found by others. We’d love to see your designs so please post to your social media with the hashtags. We will be posting updates here too.
  • FIND rocks & return them to ERH to be included in a rock mandala which will be created by our Community Inclusion group members in early November. Some rocks might not make it back, because they end up being too loved by the finder, and that’s okay!

Come collect some rocks – kindly donated by Rock Solid - from Kinsey House Medical Consulting Suites (cnr Francis & Leichardt Street) and then Decorate, Hide and Find! Contact Allie Connelly or Tracey Farrell on (03) 5485 5800 for more information.
