Daffodil Day
Jacqui Goldenberg, Community Service Program Director
This year, Kilvington partnered with the Cancer Council Victoria to support Daffodil Day.
Kilvington students were involved in a promotional video to encourage schools to register for Daffodil Day earlier in the year. Furthermore, a number of year 10 students visited the Cancer Council to hear about the work they do and to help pack promotional information for Daffodil Day.
The day itself was embraced by the whole School community. We sold 100 bunches of daffodils and raised over $1300. The Junior School also created a beautiful art installation, filling the word 'hope' with 'homemade' daffodils.
Look out for next year’s installation and hopefully our community can sell at least 150 bunches of fresh daffodils in 2019!
Coles Sports for Schools
For the Coles Sports for Schools programs run in Term 1 and 2, we ended up collecting 12,730 vouchers from staff, students and the Kilvington community.
These have been used to purchase basketballs, footballs, basketballs and general lunchtime equipment to the value of around $400.
A huge thanks to our community for their support.
Kilvington 'Care' Video
'Care' is another of the Four Pillars at Kilvington. In this video, students chat talk about what they think care means.

Parking Around the School
Please be respectful of our local and School community when parking at and around the School.
This includes not parking in School driveways, across residents’ driveways, on nature strips and in No Standing and restricted areas.
In particular, please be mindful of parents waiting to drop off their children in the various zones around the School. If you could please drop your children off as quickly as possible, regardless
of the time allowed, it will help reduce the level of congestion around the School and frustration experienced by waiting parents.
For parents of senior school students, please consider parking or dropping them off from nearby streets to walk the short distance to School.
