New staff at St Albans Secondary College

Samuel Brown

Hello! My name is Sam and I have recently joined the Wellbeing Team here at St Albans Secondary. I have spent twelve years as an insurance broker before moving into Youth Work a couple of years ago. I have worked in a number of schools across the west for the past 12 months mentoring young people and helping them realise their purpose and potential. Outside of work, I am married with 3 kids, have a crazy husky called Wilson and I love music - playing music & listening to it!

Peter Gajewski

Hi! I'm Peter Gajewski, the newest member of the Facilities Team here at St Albans Secondary College. Hailing from America, I worked previously for Chicago Public Schools as a tutor and educator. My interests lie in horticulture, music, literature, and my cat, Billie.

Ashima Ghuman

Hi everyone! My name is Ashima Ghuman and I have been recently appointed as a Humanities teacher at SASC for term 4, 2019. I have been working with SASC for nearly 5 years now as a substitute and a short term contract teacher. I have also taught Humanities, Legal Studies, Business Management, Accounting and Economics at Laverton P-12 College, Alphington Grammar College and Keilor Downs College. I have experience in Special Education, teaching on casual bases at Melton Special School, Jackson Special, Western Autistic (both Niddrie and Laverton campus). I really enjoyed reading 'Like a Queen' by Constance Hall. My Favourite music is Indian music by R.A Rehman and I big fan of TML Crew (hip hop dancing). I love working out everyday and I enjoy Kick Boxing, Body Pump and HIIT. My long term objective is to become a full time teacher at my all time favourite school, St Albans Secondary College, where I first started my teaching career.
