Fashion at St Albans

It has been another highly successful and exciting year at The Australian Fashion Awards for SASC.

We started off the night very successfully in the ‘Calico Years 9/10’ section with Emily Thomson and Kim Tran placing first and second. In the ‘Recycled Wearable Art – Years 9/10’ section once again Kim Tran placed second! In ‘Evening Wear Years 9/10’ we managed a hat trick of winning all three places. With Viv Pham placing first, Kim Tran second and Lilly Tran third!

In the second half of the evening in the ‘Calico Years 11/12’ section,  Chelsea Tran won with second place being won by Jingyi Zhang. In the ‘Upcycle Years 11/12’ section Quyen Dang placed third. In ‘Costume Fantasy Years 11/12’ section Chelsea Tran placed second.

The ‘Rising Star Designer of the Year’ award was won by Kim Tran and the ‘Designer of the Year’ award was won by Chelsea Tran.

The ‘Schools Cup’ was once again won by SASC making this the third year in a row! A big thank you to all the staff who supported this event and an even bigger thank you to the wonderful, talented hard working students that participated in the awards.
