Early “Rollover” to 2018

Tuesday, 28th November we will start early “rollover” into 2018 classes. Thanks to our staff for all their hard work in preparing  for the start of rollover.  Feedback from previous years, and parents with whom I have spoken recently, indicates that students (and their parents/carers) appreciate being engaged fully in meaningful learning at this time of year, which stands o in good stead for next year. At this time of year there is, inevitably, some “fine tuning” of classes for 2018. These issues are usually able to be resolved by the end of the first week of “rollover”.  Rollover classes for 2018 Year 12 classes finish on Friday 8th December and for all other students on Friday 15th December.

Exams

As you would be aware Year 12 exams have been running since 1st November and are due to finish on Wednesday 22nd November.  Years 10 and 11 exams have also been running over the last few days and they are due to finish today (Friday 17th November).  I would like to thank all our exam supervisors and staff involved in organising and running these exams.  It takes a huge effort to make sure everything runs smoothly.  Well done to everyone.

Students exiting the college

Please note that any student exiting from the College (excluding Year 12) needs to complete an exit form which can be obtained from the Office.  If you are under 17 and not going to a government school you will also need to complete the exit papers and have an exit interview with Ms Farrington-Williams

AND  a reminder that if you are exiting the college your Compass logon will be made inactive when you are no longer a student.  If there are any reports on Compass you wish to keep please make sure you print these reports before the end of the school year.

All Year level booklists are now available on our website www.cheltsec.vic.edu.au.  Go to Enrolment (along the blue task bar at the top of the screen), drop down to "Books & Resource List".
