Africa Day

Africa Day

Africa Day celebrates the 1963 founding of the African Union, and falls on the 25th of May.  It is a day to acknowledge the achievements of the peoples and governments of Africa.

This year, Africa Day also coincided with our Athletics Carnival. Natalina Mariak jumped on board DJ Will's radio show to bring us African beats.   

A special shout out must also go to Ms. Nicki Currey for our African themed face paint, hair spray, and nail painting booth.   She was joined by Roda Thangaw.
