Senior School House Athletics

The annual Senior School House Athletics was held at Duncan MacKinnon on Friday 22 March.

It is always awesome to see students in their Houses participating to the best of their ability.

This is also an event where House Captains show tremendous organisation and leadership as they select their own teams, find last-minute replacements and offer encouragement and advice to their younger peers.

Well done to Fysh House, who took home all three trophies: Junior Cup (7-9), Senior Cup (10-12) and Aggregate Cup.

EISM Swimming Night of Champions Carnival

Thirty-three of our swimmers recently represented the School in the EISM Swimming Night of Champions Carnival at MSAC.

This carnival involves the top ten swimmers for each event across the three Divisional Meets.

We had some fantastic results throughout the night. Highlights included:

• Greta Saville: gold medal in 13YO Girls 50m freestyle and bronze medal in 13YO Girls 50m Breaststroke.
• Katya Richardson: gold medal in Open Girls 50m backstroke and a new EISM record, silver medal in Open Girls 50m freestyle.
• Greta Saville, Jess Moore, Rianne Darvell and Maya Scott: bronze medal in the 13YO Girls Freestyle Relay.

Both Greta and Katya will be invited to the VSAC Carnival in Term 2 to represent the EISM to swim against other independent sporting associations across Victoria.
