ABOUT 150 people gathered at Koondoola Community Centre this afternoon for Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s visit.

The visit coincided with birthday celebrations for senior citizens at the centre and WA Senator Dean Smith said he believed it was the first time a prime minister had visited Koondoola.

Mr Morrison talked about having a strong economy and keeping Australians safe by protecting borders as well as funding to protect women and children from domestic violence.

He is spending the next few days in Western Australia and will be in Henley Brook tonight.
