EDWIN FLACK DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to the 60 students who competed at the Edwin Flack District Cross Country trials on Monday 7th May. It is always an absolute pleasure to take our students off campus to represent our school. The sportsmanship, effort, enthusiasm and dedication throughout competition and during training sessions has been exceptional and we are very proud of each and every one of our competitors.

As a result of each and every one of our student’s efforts and placings, Oatlands Primary School finished 2nd Overall at the Edwin Flack District Cross Country Champions for 2019.

A further congratulations to the following students who are representing Oatlands and the Edwin Flack District at the Casey North Division Cross Country Trials on Monday 3rd June. These students have performed exceptionally well at District level finishing in the top 10 in their respective age groups to qualify to compete at this level of competition. We wish these students all the best of luck knowing that they will represent Oatlands in an exemplary manner.

Grade3/4 Football Report.

The grade 4 Football Gala day was a huge success. Well done to the 40 students who participated, showing determination, sportsmanship and talent throughout the entire day. Both boys teams produced some excellent footy, combining for 5 wins, 3 draw and 4 losses in total. The girls team showed dominance through the tournament, finishing the day undefeated and winning the grand final comfortably.

Interschool Sports Report.

This week our Grade 6 students play Berwick Fields in Interschool Sports. Good luck to our Grade 6 students and hopefully our weather improves.

Please note: Interschool Sports will also be played on Tuesday 11th June. 10.45am-11.30am and the last Friday of term 2, Friday 28th of June due to our Curriculum day and inclement weather.
