Year 12 Graduation and Year Level Awards ceremonies

This week we held our Year 12 Graduation and Awards Ceremony. After missing out on so much in 2020/21, it was wonderful to be able to share this evening with the Class of 2021. Students and their families, enjoyed a few extra “Celebration Day-style” touches with a photo booth and t-shirt signing, with food and dancing afterwards.

Earlier this week we also held in-person awards ceremonies for Years 7-11 that have been extremely well attended and warmly received by students and their families.

My congratulations to all graduates and awards recipients and my deep thanks to the many staff involved, led by Assistant Principal Ryan Millar and the year level teams, for staging such wonderful celebrations of student effort and achievement.

2021 VCE results

The VCE results are in for 2021 and, given the challenging year it was, the efforts and achievements of our students should be acknowledged and celebrated.

The median study score was 29, a slight dip compared with the last four years. However,  the percentage of study scores in the 40s increased to above 5%, up from 3.6 in 2020.

Nine students received ATARs in the 90s with our Dux, James Clarke, achieving a wonderful 97.3. Once again the number of 80+ scores was very strong, with almost 30% of students achieving an ATAR above 80. We also had a student achieve a perfect score of 50 in Psychology.

My congratulations to all Unit 3/4 students once again, not just on the achievements but your amazing effort and resilience in 2021. My thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to help students achieve their best this year.

I wish every family a safe and relaxing holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you all in 2022.
