Swimming Carnival

Friday18 February saw plenty of happy faces enter the water for our Junior School swimming carnival. There were some outstanding performances on the day alongside many students displaying huge bravery to take part in an event like this after such a long time out of the pool due to COVID restrictions. Congratulations should go to all participants. Age champions, and the overall house winner will be announced at Friday’s assembly and published in the next newsletter. For our representative swimmers, details regarding HICES will come out next week, with the HICES carnival on 7 March.

Many thanks to all staff who helped with the running of the day. Events like this would not happen without the support and expertise of a big team. A huge thank you also to our Year 10 assistants who gave up their time to help out with the running of the carnival. A highlight for many children on the day was Mr Barret’s salmon dive in the staff race.
