2019 Year 5 Primary School Visits

In Weeks 3 and 4 of this term Mater Dei hosted our annual Year 5 Visits. These days are an opportunity for students across our region to experience a day in the life of a Secondary School student here at the College. Students experienced a variety of lessons in  key learning areas such as STEAM, Science, Cooking, Woodwork, PDHPE and Visual Art. Our current Year 10 students were the guides on each of these days and did a wonderful job in leading the Year 5 students throughout each of the activities.

Many thanks to Mrs Streckfuss and Mr McCormack who facilitated the days. Thank you also to teachers and support staff who assisted in preparing and running activities that showcased the many opportunities offered to students at Mater Dei.
