Sherrin Day

Spring is in the air!

Sherrin House welcomed the sunshine this morning with families joining in for the Spring Carnival Breakfast. The faux fashionistas were on deck to strut their silky suits and flowing frocks. It was a wonderful morning as the seniors helped serve up bacon & egg rolls, fruit, hot milo, tea and coffee to students and their families.

The day rolled out more fashions as other Houses joined in to show their duds. The faux fashion parade at recess showcased the styles that are all the rave. The standouts on the day included best faux dressed:

Junior Male - Clay De Paoli

Junior Female - Lauren Cook

Senior Male - Bec Myers

Senior Female - James Whiting

Best Couple - Molly Devries and Flynn Buttifant

Runner up Couple - Issy Cunningham and Ryan Bourne

Lunchtime entertainment consisted of Senior races with all Houses representing. The Bowyer's Cup and Griffin's Plate were highly contested by the jockeys and trainers.

Thanks to everyone for your support this day as all profits raised go to help those in need. A special mention to the Sherrin staff and students behind the scenes that helped make this day special.

All the best in your spring faux fashions endeavours!
