Book Week

Each year across Australia, the Children’s Book Council of Australia brings children and books together celebrating CBCA Book Week. This year, the 2019 CBCA Book Week theme was ‘Reading is my Secret Power’; to be hosted across schools from 17-23 August. 

On Tuesday 20 August, Mater Dei celebrated Book Week in extended homegroup with the annual Book Week Trivia; with all homegroups participating individually.

Congratulations to Webber 3 and Webber 7 who were the winning Homegroups. They were rewarded for their outstanding achievements with a hot chip lunch in the Peace Garden on Friday. 

Congratulations to all Homegroups on their efforts, and thank you all for a successful day.
