VCAL project helping the community
Two of our Year 11 VCAL students, Michaela and Jacqueline, have been running an event as part of their Work Related Skills program trying to raise awareness and collect much needed clothing for The Mums Supporting Families in Need Organisation.
The role of the organisation is to help women and children who are victims of domestic abuse by supplying them with clothes, shoes, toys, nappies and other essential items. Jacqueline and Michaela planned this event for four weeks and encouraged the junior year levels by making it a competition between each form group. They appreciate all the donations made by students and teachers.
