Year 8 Visual ART

During this semester Year 8 Visual ART have been working on exploring art movements and creating artworks reflecting the different styles of Art.

Students studied Pop art- particularly the works of Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, where they created paintings and Lino prints reflecting popular culture.

Students also studied OP art, optical illusion art where they created zentangle animals, using contrast and patterns.

The following images are just some of the many expressive images that the students produced with acrylic paint, lino printing and ink drawing.
