Year 9 Food Tech
Year 9 Food technology has been very busy lately cooking a wide range of food. This week we were lucky to have our wonderful kitchen assistant Hellen, demonstrate the art of making pasta from scratch. Students watched a demonstration of pasta making.
Students each had a turn of using our very own pasta makers to roll the pasta. We dried it overnight and used it during their practical lesson the following day to make 'Creamy Bacon, Mushroom and Pea Fettuccine.' Students enjoyed the experience delivered by Hellen.
