Swinburne Early Leaders Program
Swinburne's Early Leaders Program supports students in their transition to university and recognises their extra-curricular activities.
The program is open to Year 11 students studying in 2019 and can be completed online, or via a combination of online and on campus activities.
What will students get out of the program?
They'll undertake two certificates: a core certificate in Research and Academic skills where they will interview a current Swinburne student, learn how to write an academic report, and strengthen their writing and communication skills. The second certificate is an elective of their choice in either Career Development, Creativity, or Community Engagement, allowing students to be recognised for existing talents, volunteering or new projects.
As well as gaining recognition for their achievements from a leading university, students who successfully complete the Early Leaders Program will automatically receive one aggregate point for each completed category with a maximum of two aggregate points, during VTAC assessments.
