2019 Uniform - on sale now

New uniform now available
The new uniform is now in stock at Noone Imagewear's on-campus and retail stores. The uniform redesign, an outcome of the 2017 uniform review, was accomplished with the considerable energy and input of many students, staff and parents. It is flexible, trans-seasonal and gender neutral, and features a number of layers and variety of fabrics to accommodate Melbourne's unpredictable weather.
Students in Year 7 2019 will be the first year level to wear the new uniform. Current (2018) students may continue to wear the old uniform through to the end of 2020, or may choose to wear part or all of the new uniform.
The uniform expectations for 2019 have been updated to reflect the uniform transition phase. These expectations have been posted to Compass Newsfeed, are attached here and will be published in the 2019 Student Organiser. Some key points to keep in mind:
- In 2019 there will no longer be a summer / winter uniform distinction. However, the black tights may not be worn under the old-style (purple and white) summer dress;
- Hoodies, polo shirts and long-sleeved t-shirts/spencers etc are not part of the school uniform. All items worn must be school uniform;
- Shoes should be black, 'business style' polishable leather or equivalent. Runners and skate shoes are not permitted. There are a number of brands that produce good quality, comfortable and 'foot-friendly' school shoes;
- Socks (trouser length) and tights should be black, with no logos
Students who are out of uniform need to bring a note from home explaining the reason, and present this note at their sub-school office before Period 1 to request a uniform pass. Consequences will apply for students out of uniform without a pass. Where possible, students out of uniform will need to remove or exchange the non-uniform item.
