Middle Years 

Year 9 report 

As we approach the half-way point of Term 2, it’s important for us to take some time to reflect on where our Year 9s are and what they have achieved. This year has seen many changes, and by now our students have adapted and responded well to the new structures in the school. So far this term, our Year 9s have completed Morrisby testing in their Explore classes and will receive their profiles later in the term. It has been absolutely fantastic to see our students taking the opportunity to explore post-education pathways and investigate the range of possibilities that their futures may hold.  

This is a theme that we encourage all of our students to stick with: exploring possibilities. This semester has been challenging, with new subjects, new classes and lots of new people, and we encourage all of our students to be mindful of the opportunities that this presents, and we look forward to the new challenges of Semester 2, including new elective subjects, city experience and camp experiences. 

Well done Year 9s on a successful beginning to Term 2, and we encourage you to keep up the fantastic effort.
