Wellbeing Day

Wellbeing Day

Our Middle School students recently participated in a range of activities and workshops aimed at providing them with opportunities to learn more about strategies to build positive wellbeing practices into their own lives.

Some of our Alumni returned to their Alma Mater to work with students throughout the program.  Kahli Joyce’s ‘Tidal Flow’ yoga studios ran a yoga and meditation workshop that helped our students focus on mindfulness. Mr Owens shared his knowledge about the importance of quality sleep and minimising screen time. Brittany Andreola, now a nutritionist, helped students analyse their diets and investigate healthy eating. Our students also had a lot of fun developing team building skills with Ms Ohlert.

As part of the day, everyone in the senior school participated in a workshop run by Kate Rizzo of ‘Grow Club’. The workshop focused on ‘Respectful Relationships and Consent’ and was very well received by all of the students.
