VCE Theatrical Production

'Vinegar Tom' - a play by Caryl Churchill

The VCE Theatre Studies decided to tackle the challenging genre of Feminist Theatre by performing Caryl Churchill’s iconic play, Vinegar Tom.

Each student chose two production roles from acting, directing, costume, make-up, set, props, lighting and sound as they planned, developed and presented a performance to an audience.

The team worked incredibly well to produce a thought-provoking piece of theatre that used the context of 17th century rural England to highlight contemporary gender issues in our modern world.

In my first semester at Huntingtower, I could not be prouder of what the class has achieved together.
