Every Minute Counts

Our school day begins at 8:45am. Homeroom is an important time for settling in, touching base with your homeroom teacher and being informed of any special messages for the day.

You are reminded to attend all classes on time. Each lesson runs for 60 minutes and teachers plan their lessons for this time, making every minute count.

Break times are for stretching your legs, getting some fresh air, eating food, going to the toilet and filling up your drink bottle. The moving music is your prompt to move quickly to class with all equipment necessary.

You are not to leave the classroom until the teacher dismisses you on or after the bell. When packing up and waiting for the bell, be sure to leave the room tidy. Picking up two or three pieces of rubbish off the floor makes a huge difference and all chairs must be placed on tables at the end of the day.

Every minute counts when it comes to learning and developing our character, knowledge and skills.
