Year 7 Immunisations

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As previously informed, we were required to reschedule the first round of Year 7 immunisations to a later date due to current circumstances.

We can now confirm that this date is to be the 29th July 2020. The second dose will be administered early next year. It is required that at least a minimum of 6 months be in between each administrated dose. The Melton City Council immunisation nurses will visit our school to administer the immunisations.

This will only occur for those students who have returned their consent cards and have provided permission.

If you do not have a consent card and wish for your child to receive their immunisations, there is a link attached to the bottom of this notification. This link is a consent card. This should be printed, completed and returned to the First Aid Coordinator by 28th July 2020. Email (attached below) or via the student is appropriate in the current climate.

Alternatively, you can see your GP or attend a community session (please contact the immunisation officer for further details and session times-number provided below).

If you do not wish for your child to receive their immunisations in school please ensure the consent card is still completed reiterates this.

If your child has received them recently and/or externally, please email me their certificate of immunisation for our records.
