What learning has been happening in JLC?

We have been learning about procedures in writing. They are like instructions or recipes.

We have also been learning about measurement in Maths.   We had to find an object and measure it with something, like little blocks or counters or icy pole sticks or tens. We had to see how many things it used from beginning to end. Kate was 69 unifix blocks long and Cynthia measured 46 tens long.

When the teachers had interviews, we watched Paddington 1.

We have been doing lots of Art and Craft with Mrs Maher. We have made crocodiles, frogs, owls and giraffes. We have also been doing origami. We have made a cat, a dog, a fox and some fish. It is so much fun.

We have been doing Word Mania on Literacy Planet. You have to make words from these letters and it times and scores you. When you get a high score you get badges.
