Year 8 Hunger fighters

In Term 2, Year 8 students worked in their Connect classes to prepare presentations of their chosen charities. We were very impressed with their ideas and the variety of charities Year 8 student chose.  However, we had the tough job of choosing only one charity for the Year 8 cohort to raise awareness and funds for.

Representatives from Year 8 Chisholm 1 visited all Year 8 Connect classes to inform them about the amazing cause. We also had a dedicated group of students who gave up their Friday lunch times to help plan and organise other smaller initiatives where we could involve students from all year groups. 

Keep an eye out for these ‘hunger fighters’ as they will be coming around to your Connect classes to spread awareness about this incredible charity that changes lives.
