Student Leadership Conference

Last Monday 12 September, a KSP Conference on Cyber Bullying was held at our school. Our student leaders had spent time developing a presentation for the Year 6 student leaders from six of our local primary schools. It was an excellent experience in which we heard the insight of all these students from each of these schools and their tips on staying safe online. 

We talked about how to avoid bullying online, what to do in such situations and how to demonstrate the Killara High values of respect and ownership. We provided them with some real-life examples of cyber bullying and gave them insight on what help is available in our high school. This was an incredible experience that we were privileged to participate.
