Welcome back to staff and students, and a very special welcome to those students and staff joining the College community for the first time.
This week is a short week with the Royal Hobart Show public holiday tomorrow (Thursday 20 October). I hope you take the opportunity to enjoy some family time together.
Year 11 and 12
On Friday 28 October we will gather as a College to celebrate and farewell our Year 12 students at the Whole School Assembly, followed by the Leavers' Assembly and the Belling Out.
I wish them well with their studies and exam preparations.

Year 5 camp
Over the past few days our Year 5 students had their overnight camping experience at Blue Lagoon, Dodges Ferry.
The students had the opportunity to enjoy many different activities.
Thank you to all staff who participated in and assisted with the organisation and supervision of the camp.

Meet the Principal Tours
The next 'Meet the Principal Tour' will be held on Friday 4 November at 9.30am.
The session commences with a meeting and presentation by me, followed by a College tour conducted by student leaders so parents and carers have the opportunity to speak to students and staff and see what we do during a day at St Mary's College.
