Mango Fundraiser - orders now open in Qkr!

It's that time of year ... the annual Mango Fundraiser is back!

You can pick up a tray or two of world-renowned Bowen (Kensington Pride) mangoes direct from the farm, at a great price, while supporting our school.

$28 per tray (approx 7kg; 12 - 23 mangoes per tray)

Mangoes will be ready for collection from school late Nov - early Dec; date to be confirmed.

Orders now open in Qkr, until Sun 23rd October.

CPS swimming caps

Thank you to those families who ordered CPS swimming caps over recent weeks.  Those ordered before last Thursday (6th October) were sent home with children last Friday, and it’s been great to see lots of colourful bobbing heads at the grade 3 - 6 swimming program at GESAC over the last 2 days!

If students in Grades Prep - 2 would like to order a cap ready for their program in a few weeks time, orders are open now in Qkr, and if placed by Weds 26th October, will be delivered on Fri 28th October.

Caps are available (while stocks remain) in each of the 4 house colours, and in 2 sizes:

  • JUNIOR - Standard kids sizing; approx 19cm x 19cm when lying flat
  • ADULT -  Approx 19 x 23 cm when lying flat.  Likely suitable for students in the upper grades and/or who have lots of hair!

Icypole Fridays

Icypole Fridays will be back on selected Fridays in term 4!

A Compass note will be sent the day beforehand, to remind you to send $1 with your child if they would like to buy an icypole.  Students in Prep, Grade 1 or Grade 2 should give their money to their teachers in the morning.  Students in Grades 3 - 6 can come to the Hall after the second lunch bell to buy their icypole.

Can you help?

The PFA have several fun events and fundraisers in store for Term 4.  In addition to the Trivia Night, avocados, and swimming caps, look out for mangoes and cherries, Sushi Day, an Election Day BBQ, Icypole Days, and more!

We are very grateful for the support of so many parents whose contributions make these initiatives possible.  Can you spare an hour or two from time to time?  Then please add your name to the roster at https://signup.com/go/wHReUqz.  This page is regularly updated with a variety of volunteering opportunities.

Next meeting - Weds. 2nd November

The next PFA meeting will be held on Wednesday, November, at 7:30pm.  It will be a hybrid meeting - face to face in the staff room, and via Zoom (link to be provided closer to the time).  Pop it in your diary now, we’d love to see you there!
