Reflections on Faith

From the desk of the Religious Education Coordinator - Miss McMeniman

As we near the end of the school year, school seems to be getting busier!

On Wednesday 30th November, 5 of our Year 2 students celebrated their Sacrament of Reconciliation at St. Patrick's Parish with Father Gleeson and Father Francis. It was a beautiful, reverent evening. Thankyou to parents and staff for making the evening so special.

Congratulations to Phoebe Newberry, Harley McPhillips, Hallie Parish, Maggie Doust and Matthew Jobin!

Year 6 had their Year 6 Retreat on Thursday 1st December. The theme was around their journey from kindergarten to year 6 and now heading into high

school. It was a memorable day, where students reflected on their journey, how they are perceived by themselves and others and deeply thought about those who have been inspirations to them during their primary school lives. They then wrote letters to these people (parents, family members, friends, staff members, old teachers) to express their thanks. Year 6 then hosted their final assembly. Which was INCREDIBLE! Well done on an amazing year Year 6!

End of Year Mass:

The End of School Year Mass will be held next Thursday, 8th December, at 12:00pm at St. Patrick's Church. The Mass begins to farewell Year 6 students as well as the handing over of flags (and responsibilities) to our new school leadership team. We hope to see everyone there!
