Cultural Festival Highlights

The College hopes every student enjoyed today's Cultural Festival. The atmosphere was incredible, with student participation and excitement bringing this beloved day to a whole new level! 

We commenced the day with Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Stigmata of Saint Francis of Assisi, our College’s Feast Day. Our College is named after the place where St Francis received the stigmata (Mount La Verna; Mount Alvernia is the anglicised form of this place name). The miracle is also represented in our College crest that shows the arm of Jesus and the arm of St Francis, each of them bearing the wounds of the cross on their hands.
